Baku, January 15, AZERTAC Elgun Jabbarov, a fourth-year Petroleum Engineering student at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR, is currently studying at the China University of Petroleum through an exchange program.As part of the program, Elgun secured third place in the competition for creating speeches and videos on the topic “Global Responsibility of Youth in the New Era of Energy.”The competition had two stages. Elgun was the only foreign student to advance to the finals after the first stage. In his speech, he highlighted the role of youth in the energy sector and Azerbaijan's initiatives in combating climate change.
