Film highlighting National Hero Hokuma Aliyeva’s life to be screened

Ziya Shikhlinsky, Secretary of the Azerbaijan Union of Cinematographers, is preparing to produce a documentary film focusing on the life of Hokuma Aliyeva, the stewardess aboard the Embraer 190 aircraft that crashed on its route from Baku to Grozny on December 25, 2024, near Aktau.
By the Order of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated December 29, 2024, Hokuma Aliyeva was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan. This recognition honors her outstanding professionalism, bravery, and dedication in fulfilling her duties and saving passengers’ lives during the tragic incident involving the Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 passenger aircraft.
