The Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization tour for representatives of 27 travel agencies from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
During their visit, the Gulf country representatives explored the tourist attractions of Baku and the "Shahdag" Tourism Center to learn about Azerbaijan's winter tourism offerings and the services available at the winter ski center.
In addition, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with nearly 45 local companies to foster the development of bilateral relations.
During 11 months of 2024, Azerbaijan welcomed 244,511 tourists from Middle Eastern countries, marking a 17 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
