Azerbaijan’s Deputy FM highlights country’s foreign policy at Doha Forum

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Fariz Rzayev, participated in the 22nd Doha Forum in Qatar.
Rzayev also attended the panel session titled "Central Asia and the New Era of Global Energy Security" within the forum.
During his address, Fariz Rzayev highlighted Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, including the country-initiated energy and transport projects, their contributions to the development and security of the region, as well as the country’s policies on transitioning to green energy and using alternative energy sources. He also spoke about Azerbaijan’s efforts within its COP29 Presidency.
A roundtable on "Azerbaijan’s Foreign Policy" was held at the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
Rzayev responded to questions about Azerbaijan’s foreign policy direction, current regional processes, the country’s successful presidency of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the decisions made within the framework of COP29.
