Azerbaijani ambassador presents his credentials to Sultan of Oman

Rashad Ismayilov, Azerbaijan’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, presented his credentials to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
The Sultan of Oman congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his future endeavors.
He hailed the successful cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
The Sultan expressed his eagerness in continuing fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Oman in both bilateral and multilateral formats, especially within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, along with the development of relations in economic, energy, education, tourism and other domains.
Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov extended the sincere greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said expressed his gratitude and asked to pass on his sincere greetings to the President of Azerbaijan as well.
Emphasizing that the COP29 held in Baku would make its contribution to the addressing the global climate challenges, the Sultan of Oman wished Azerbaijan success in this difficult and responsible role.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm words and reception, the ambassador underscored that he would spare no effort to develop relations between the two countries.
