Baku, November 5, AZERTAC The Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR has hosted the ELSA International Conference on Climate Change and Energy Law as part of COP29.The event included attendance from Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan, and Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan.In his opening speech, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov highlighted the significance of the conference within the framework of COP29, emphasizing the growing global impact of environmental issues. He called on students to take greater responsibility for environmental protection and sustainable development.Further presentations were delivered by representatives from EY Azerbaijan, PwC Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC.At the conclusion of the event, certificates were presented to participants.The event was organized by ELSA Azerbaijan.
