Head of Piki Reels club: Lack of international support for Azerbaijan’s demining efforts disappointing
Fuzuli, October 28, AZERTAC
“This is my third visit to Azerbaijan, and I’m truly impressed with the progress here, especially the rapid construction developments,” said Yves Bouvier, a Belgian traveler and head of the UK-based Piki Reels club, while observing demining efforts in Azerbaijan’s liberated Fuzuli region.
“This is also my third time witnessing demining operations here. We were informed today that Armenians planted approximately 1.5 million mines in these areas, and I’m impressed by Azerbaijan’s commitment to clearing them. It’s disappointing, though, that the international community isn’t assisting Azerbaijan in these demining efforts. I wish they would do more,” Bouvier emphasized.
