Beijing, October 11, AZERTAC
The China Academy of Translation arranged a media tour for international communication experts and foreign media representatives to Guangdong province, one of the most developed provinces in China.
Employees of AZERTAC and AzTV, alongside with representatives from China, Pakistan, Russia, Japan, U.S. and Brazil, participated in the project entitled "The World Comes to Zhongshan". The project is dedicated to the 100th day of the commissioning of the bridge–tunnel connecting the cities of Shenzhen and Zhongshan, which is considered one of the largest infrastructure projects implemented by China in recent years.
The delegation toured the cross-sea Shenzhen-Zhongshan highway.
Commissioned on June 30, this mega link includes a sea-crossing bridge, a subsea tunnel, artificial islands and an underground interchange, connecting Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Nansha District of Guangzhou. It also boasts the only direct expressway connecting Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou with Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen.
As part of the trip, international communication experts and foreign journalists visited the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and drone production facilities in Zhongshan, as well as toured the city's tourist attractions.
