Baku hosts Halal Business and Tourism Forum

The Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum (AZHAB), co-organized by the Ministry of Economy, the State Tourism Agency and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), has today kicked off in Baku.
The forum is supported by the “Caspian Event Organisers LLC”, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the International Association of Islamic Business, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), and the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).
The event brought together officials, experts, academics, international organizations, and business representatives from around 20 countries worldwide.
The forum is comprised of two parts: a conference and an exhibition. The conference will cover development prospects in the halal sectors such as food, tourism, and finance, along with discussions on standardization issues. It will also feature panel discussions for participants to share experiences. The exhibition will display products and services from companies in Azerbaijan and abroad.
