"This year, the 100th anniversary of the famous Kazakh writer Berdibek Sokpakbayev is celebrated in Azerbaijan. This significant event has been recognized by UNESCO as a jubilee. In this context, for the first time ever, at the 10th Baku International Book Fair, the writer's famous work "My name is Koja" was presented to readers in Azerbaijani. Berdibek Sokpakbayev proved that he is a classic writer with a rich heritage," said Malik Otarbayev, Adviser to the President of Kazakhstan, who visited the AZERTAC stand at the 10th Baku International Book Fair.
He stressed the attention and support shown to the great Turkish poets by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Malik Otarbayev also pointed out that this year marks the 530th anniversary of great Azerbaijani poet Mahammad Fuzuli, who was a source of inspiration for Kazakh poets. He also added that introducing his works to the youth is one of the most important issues.
