Ankara hosts event discussing current state and future prospects of Turkish cooperation

Ankara hosts a series of events to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which established the Organization of Turkic States, as well as to celebrate October 3rd as Turkic States Cooperation Day.
A panel meeting was organized on the topic “Current State and Future Prospects of Turkish Cooperation".
The dignitaries at the event, including Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund Baghdad Amreyev, President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Asaf Hajiyev and others highlighted the history of cooperation between the Turkic-speaking countries, as well as shared journey of progress, unity, and cooperation.
The speakers underscored that the OTS has become a cornerstone for fostering collaboration accross political, economic, cultural, educational, and social spheres, now encompassing over 35 areas of cooperation. This remarkable progress is a testament to the collective will of member states and observers, working together to create a prosperous and harmonious future for the entire region.
The attendees also highlighted the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) - COP29, to be held in Baku this year, stressing that the first meeting of the OTS ministers responsible for the environment and ecology is planned to be held within the event.
