Baku, September 10, AZERTAC

The second day of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad in Baku continues with sessions focused on a variety of key topics.
Discussions cover subjects such as "The development of data science as a priority area in Azerbaijan," "Mathematical models in forecasting human interventions," "The legacy of Azerbaijani newspapers from 1918-1920," "Scientific and educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye," "Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis in Arabic sources," "The characteristics and prospects of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia," and "The activities of DAAB in the virtual space."
The forum also includes brainstorming sessions where participants, grouped by scientific fields, will explore strategic plans for the World Association of Azerbaijani Scholars (DAAB), building on themes raised by university leaders in previous sessions.
Supported by the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Science and Education, and organized by the World Association of Azerbaijani Scholars, the forum, which ends on September 11, has gathered nearly 200 scientific figures, including over 80 Azerbaijani scholars from 23 countries.
The forum aims to foster connections among Azerbaijani scientists abroad, facilitate interactions with local scientists, and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience.
The Forum participants will also visit the cities of Shusha and Khankendi and engage in discussions with the teaching staff at Garabagh University.
