Baku hosts exhibition of works by artists of Bahrain-based RAK Art Foundation

An exhibition featuring works by artists from the Bahrain-based RAK Art Foundation was opened in Baku on Friday.
The exhibition was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Addressing to the meeting, Artist Rashid Al Khalifa, Founder of RAK Art Foundation praised Bahraini artists sharing their remarkable talent with the art lovers in Azerbaijan, noting that the Foundation promotes international partnerships and mutual understanding.
According to him, the cooperation aims to introduce the rich tapestry of Bahraini art to the vibrant and diverse art scene in Baku.
Chairman of the Board of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, honored art worker Emin Mammadov said that the collaboration with Artist Rashid Al Khalifa and the RAK Art Foundation reflects a broader vision of art, international friendship and cultural understanding.
"I am delighted that the beauty and depth of Bahraini contemporary art being featured in Baku. I believe that this will further expand the possibilities of partnership between the two countries."
Previously, the Heydar Aliyev Center has hosted a number of exhibitions by Artist Rashid Al Khalifa.
