Baku, August 7, AZERTAC
Israeli police say investigators raided the Foreign Ministry’s offices in Jerusalem over suspicions that diplomatic passports have been issued to people who are not entitled to such documents, according to the Times of Israel.
The Lahav 433 major crimes unit opened an undercover investigation into the suspicions several weeks ago, police say.
Investigators searched the offices and seized relevant documents to aid in the probe.
