Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, met with Omar Barakat Al Nahar, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the country.
During the meeting, discussions revolved around the preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which Azerbaijan will host this year.
The sides also explored opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of environmental protection.
