“We are taking certain actions on our part. The creation of green corridors is of great importance for Azerbaijan,” said Elnur Soltanov, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Energy, Chief Executive Officer of COP29 in his presentation on "Solidarity for the Green World - COP29" organized as part of the second Shusha Global Media Forum.
Emphasizing that the South Caucasus region faces a water-related problems, the deputy minister noted that the high rates of global population growth, environmental pollution and inefficient use of water resources resulted in the rapid depletion of the existing resources.
