Azerbaijani chess player Eltaj Safarli scored 5 points after six rounds moving to top of the Serbia Chess Open 2024 taking place in Belgrade. He shares the 1st-5th places.
The 9-round Swiss system tournament offers a total prize fund of €30,000.
The competition with nearly 400 chess players in action will run until July 21.
