The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) published Friday of “Selected Works” by William Faulkner, the world-famous American writer and Nobel laureate, as part of a 150-volume series “Pearls of World Literature”.
The book features the article on the writer’s novel “The Sound and Fury” written on the writer's famous literary work of the same name, William Faulkner’s Nobel prize speech, the short stories “Red Leaves”, “The Tangled Fire”, “That Evening Sun”, “Dry September”, “A Rose for Emily”, “Hair”, “Jealousy”, the novel “The Sound and Fury”, as well as the essay on the creativity of the author titled “William Faulkner and His Saga of Yoknapatawpha by the well-known translator Tehran Valiyev.
The translators are Natig Safarov, Nariman Abdulrahmanly, Mahir N. Garayev and Etimad Bashkechid.
