Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission to monitor elections in Hungary

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has departed for Budapest to observe the European Parliament, municipal and national minority elections scheduled for June 9 in Hungary at the invitation of President of the National Election Office of the country Attila Nagy.
Mazahir Panahov, along with his counterpart Attila Nagy and other officials, will hold meetings with the heads of the supreme electoral authorities from foreign countries, discuss the prospects for enhancing cooperation and exchange of experience in electoral management system and other issues of mutual interest.
The day before the election, the CEC Chairman will familiarize himself with the pre-election campaign, as well as monitor the voting process at the polling stations in the capital city of Budapest.
