Hungarian minister: Azerbaijan elaborated a far-sighted strategy for green energy production

“Hungary will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan to ensure energy security,” said Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as he addressed the Baku Energy Forum.
“It is necessary to increase alternative energy production. Azerbaijan does a lot in this field and plans to export 1 GW of alternative energy to Europe. Azerbaijan implements energy projects of a global nature. Azerbaijan elaborated a far-sighted energy strategy. This strategy mainly involves the green energy production, which is facilitated by Azerbaijan's natural resources and geography,” Péter Szijjártó underlined.
"Hungary supports the processes of transition to green energy and will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan in this context," the Hungarian minister added.
