The Azerbaijan rhythmic gymnastics team in group exercises booked a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics after gaining the approval of the International Gymnastics Federation.
The team achieved this success after demonstrating brilliant performance at the European Championship held in Budapest, Hungary, scoring 70,200 points in the exercises with five rings, three ribbons and two balls.
The team of Azerbaijani gymnasts is comprised of Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Gullu Aghalarzade, Zeynab Hummatova and Darya Sorokina.
Thus, alongside with the rhythmic gymnastics team in group exercises, Azerbaijan will rely on rhythmic gymnast Zohra Aghamirova and trampoline gymnast Seljan Mahsudova for the Olympics.
