Student of Baku Higher Oil School participates in prestigious world forums

Agshin Yusifzada, a fourth-year student at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), who is majoring in Chemical Engineering, took part in prestigious world forums.
Agshin Yusifzada, who attended the conferences of the World Economic Forum and Islamic Development Bank, recently won the internship program of the Aramco Research Center under the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. Agshin is the only student from Azerbaijan to win this program. He worked for three months as a research assistant at the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Department.
At the World Economic Forum, Agshin Yusifzada met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, representatives of the Saudi Royal Family, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa, and Princess Beatrice of Great Britain. At the Islamic Development Bank’s conference, the BHOS student met with Maldivian Minister of Finance Mohamed Shafeeq and the management of the Malaysian Liquidity Company.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev congratulated Agshin Yusifzada on his participation in these international events.
