Representatives of Moroccan travel agencies visit Azerbaijan
Baku, May 24, AZERTAC
Representatives of Moroccan tour companies recently visited Azerbaijan with the aim of familiarizing themselves with the country's tourism potential and increasing the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan from Morocco. As part of their trip, the guests explored various regions including Baku, Absheron, and Guba-Gusar.
In 2023, the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan from the Kingdom of Morocco reached 1,740 people, and this year has seen a doubling of that number compared to the previous year. It is anticipated that this figure will further increase following the signing of an agreement between the two countries in May of this year, which eliminated the visa requirement for holders of international passports.
