AFFA President forges global ties at FIFA Congress

On the sidelines of the 74th FIFA Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf held a series of meetings.
Rovshan Najaf met with the leadership of football federations of Türkiye, USA, France, Georgia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, to exchange views on various topics, including the reinforcing of mutual cooperation in the future.
Members of football associations from 211 countries are attending the 74th annual FIFA Congress at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. The agenda includes nominations to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, the Women’s World Cup 2027, and the position of FIFA president.
