Georgian PM to meet Chancellor, other officials in Germany visit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and other officials after launching his visit to the country on Thursday alongside a Government delegation, according to Agenda.ge.
Kobakhidze will be welcomed by Scholz’s office on Friday, the Georgian Government Administration said. The two officials will meet in a face-to-face discussion and in an extended format before making comments for press.
The head of the Georgian Government will also meet with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Bärbel Bas, the President of Bundestag.
The delegation also includes Irakli Chikovani, the Vice Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, the Foreign Minister and Levan Zhorzholiani, the Head of the Government Administration.
