Over 330 migrants land on Lampedusa overnight

A wave of arrivals to Lampedusa continued overnight with 333 people landing on Italy's southernmost island on seven migrant boats, according to ANSA.
On Thursday 670 migrants arrived on 16 boats.
As a result, there were 1.263 people at Lampedusa's migrant hotspot early on Friday despite constant transfers to other parts of Italy.
