Baku, March 28, AZERTAC An artificial intelligence research laboratory created by SOCAR has been put into operation at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) for the first time among higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. The laboratory was created to assist master and PhD students studying at the university in the implementation of AI projects. It is also planned to implement various startup and grant projects at this research center.Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov noted that “this laboratory is very important in terms of improving knowledge and qualifications of young researchers.” He emphasized that joint projects would be implemented at the laboratory together with specialized educational and research institutions in China.SOCAR's Chief Communications Officer (Executive Director for Communications) Aygun Huseynova wished success to the laboratory's activities.
