Azerbaijani table tennis players have captured ten medals at the Europe Youth Series tournament in 2024, the Türkiye Open, held in Nevşehir Cappadocia.
The last day of the tournament saw female player Yaghmur Mammadli excel at table tennis by claiming the gold and bronze medals in the U13 and U15 Girls’ Singles events, respectively.
In the Boys’ singles, Onur Guluzade finished 3rd in both tournaments.
Onur Guluzade and Shakir Gadirov, as well as Yaghmur Mammadli and Banu Baytalli clinched the silver and bronze medals in the Boys' Doubles and Girls’ Doubles disciplines, respectively.
In the Mixed Doubles Pairs event among U15 athletes, Tunar Baghirov and Ugur Nazarli, Khadija Eylazova and Shabnam Mansurova bagged a bronze medal.
Earlier, Azerbaijan claimed the silver and bronze medals in the mixed doubles pairs event among U13 and U15 athletes, respectively.
