Baku, March 2, AZERTAC Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev has met with Minister of Energy of Moldova Viktor Parlicov to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation with Moldova in the field of renewable energy.The sides commended the expansion of relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.The two also discussed existing potential for cooperation in the fields of energy, transport-logistics and agriculture.Noting that the development of green energy is one of the main priorities in Azerbaijan, the deputy minister of economy said that COP29, which will be held in Azerbaijan, would create important opportunities for conducting discussions on climate change and energy efficiency with partner countries.
