Azerbaijan`s COP 29 President–Designate attends “Delivering the UAE Consensus – From Agreement to Action” panel session

Mukhtar Babayev, the COP29 President-Designate and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has participated in the panel session entitled “Delivering the UAE Consensus - From Agreement to Action” held at World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai.
The panel called on the international community to control climate changes and to take measures in this sphere.
The event was attended by COP28 President, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Al Jaber, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva, the Minister of Environment of the Kingdom of Jordan Muawieh Khalid Radaideh, the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of Bangladesh Saber Hossain Chowdhury and the Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Simon Stiell.
