Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency clears 908.9 hectares of liberated territories from mines and UXOs over past week

According to a statement released by Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency, mine-clearing operations conducted in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts from February 5 to 11 resulted in the discovery and neutralization of 162 anti-personnel mines, 33 anti-tank mines, and 836 unexploded ordnances (UXOs).
The agency reported that a total of 908.9 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs.
