‘Western organization conducts sociological survey in Karabakh for the first time’

“We have conducted a survey among the 3,000 voters in Azerbaijan. We, as a Western organization, have conducted a sociological survey in Karabakh for the first time,” said representative of Oracle Advisory Group Vlada Galan as she addressed a press conference held Friday in the city of Shusha.
She said that a total number of 3,000 respondents from various districts of Azerbaijan took part in the survey. “24.1 percent of total respondents were from Baku, 8.3 percent from other major cities, 21.3 percent from small towns and settlements, with the rest 46.3 percent residing in villages. 49.3 percent of respondents (1.479) were women, while 50.7 percent (1.521) were men,” Galan noted.
Noting that the age statistics of the population was also taken into consideration while conducting the survey, Galan underlined: “The 36.2 percent were people aged between 18 and 34, 39.0 percent aged between 30 and 54, with the rest 24.8 percent aged 55 and older.”
The Oracle Advisory Group representative further emphasized that 24.1 percent of respondents are residing in Baku, 4.8 percent in Nakhchivan, 6.1 percent in Absheron-Khizi, 3.4 percent in Daghlig Shirvan, 6.4 percent in Ganja-Dashkasan, 6.8 percent in Karabakh, 7.2 percent in Gazakh-Tovuz, 5.9 percent in Guba-Khachmaz, 10.0 percent in Lankaran-Astara, 7.8 percent in Central Aran, 6.6 percent in Shaki-Zagatala, as well as 5.3 percent in Shirvan-Salyan regions.
