LANDAU School students visit AZERTAC news agency
Baku, January 31, AZERTAC
The students of LANDAU School have today visited the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC).
They first reviewed the photos highlighting the interviews of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s nationwide addresses during the Second Karabakh War, his visits to liberated districts, as well as some of the technical equipment used by AZERTAC at different times.
They also viewed the memorial corner of AZERTAC’s martyred journalist Maharram Ibrahimov, who was killed as a result of mine explosion while fulfilling his professional duties in the liberated from occupation Kalbajar district.
LANDAU students were informed about the process of news gathering, preparation of news items for publication and editing, as well as their translation into different languages.
The guests were also briefed in detail about the Children’s Knowledge Portal (portal.azertag.az) launched in 2013.
