Baku, January 23, AZERTAC Rector of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University Zafar Gurbanov has met with a delegation from Kafkas University of Türkiye. The delegation was led by Rector of Kafkas University Husnu Kapu, and included Vice-rector for International Relations Engin Kılıç, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Mete Cihan and Assistant Professor of Department of Microbiology Özgür Çelebi. The delegation also included Education Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Türkiye Najiba Nasibova.During the meeting, Rector Zafar Gurbanov praised the expansion of bilateral cooperation and expressed optimism that the current visit would significantly contribute to improving mutual relations.The discussions during the meeting covered various topics, including the possibility of double diplomas, educational programs in the field of veterinary medicine, academic exchange, and other aspects of cooperation between the two universities.Rector Husnu Kapu of Kafkas University provided insights into the university`s activities, specialties, and advancements in personnel training. He also highlighted areas of particular interest for collaboration with Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.Following the meeting, the Turkish delegation had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the modern laboratories, educational institutions and a student dormitory of the university.
