Baku, January 8, AZERTAC A scandal has been revealed in Uzbekistan with three referees and the sporting director of the Kokand-1912 football club, who organized a match-fixing, according to Uzbekistan Daily.According to the results of an investigation, the sporting director of Kokand-1912 Shukhrat Muminov in March 2023 offered a bribe to the referees of the Uzbek Football Center Khusan Muzaffarov, Obid Jumaev and Jasur Rustamov for the victory of his club.A fixed match was recorded in the game between «Aral» and “Kokand-1912” within the framework of the Uzbekistan Pro League.All referees who violated the Association's disciplinary code received a lifelong ban from football activities.The sporting director of «Kokand-1912» Shukhrat Muminov was also found guilty and suspended from any activities related to football for life.
