Baku, December 27, AZERTAC “A series of measures have been implemented this year to promote volleyball in Baku, as well as other regions of Azerbaijan. I believe that thanks to these measures we will see growing interest in volleyball among teenagers in 2-3 years, with number of legionnaires decreasing,” President of Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation Shahin Baghirov said at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2023.Highlighting the Federation’s special attention to children's volleyball, Baghirov noted that a selection process was carried out in capital Baku and throughout the regions. All these steps are important in terms of boosting the children's volleyball,” he added.
