Diplomacy Volunteers visit Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski

Series of events held in accordance with the plan approved with regard to the implementation of the Order of the President of Azerbaijan on declaring 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in Azerbaijan are underway, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
As part of the events, Diplomacy Volunteers under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski.
The volunteers first came to the Heydar Aliyev Museum of the military school, where they laid flowers at the monument in memory of the National Leader, and got acquainted with the photo board depicting the life and political activities of the Great Leader.
Then, at the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The speakers at the event spoke about the glorious life of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who left a deep mark on the history of the Azerbaijani people, about his political activities, the unprecedented work done to build and strengthen the statehood and independence, as well as successful reforms. It was noted that today the policy of the Great Leader is successfully continued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
In the end, the singers of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov performed songs dedicated to Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and a photo was taken.
