The 20th anniversary meeting of the Interparliamentary Commission on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia has been held at the Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, with parliamentary representatives of both countries in attendance.
The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, co-chairman of the interparliamentary cooperation commission of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ali Huseynli and First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin.
The anniversary meeting will hear reports on the themes as "Further development and deepening of interparliamentary cooperation between the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation", "Tendencies and prospects of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation", "Experience and development paths of Azerbaijan-Russia interregional cooperation", "Preparation for the Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum" and "Twenty-first meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on cooperation between the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation".
