International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, TURKSOY discuss future joint projects

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev.
They emphasized the importance of joint cooperation at the present time on broader interaction of Turkic peoples with common roots and culture. During the conversation, the common Turkic cultural unity was assessed as one of the actual issues in the process of multilateral integration of the Turkic world.
The meeting discussed activities of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and TURKSOY, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, as well as projects implemented in the direction of promoting the creative heritage of outstanding personalities of the Turkic peoples.
During the conversation, significance of the announcement by TURKSOY of the Shusha city as the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World" for 2023 was emphasized. At the meeting, the holding of "Days of Shusha” by the Foundation in various countries with the aim of promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the city was highly appreciated.
The meeting continued with the discussion of further strengthening of the partnership between the Foundation and TURKSOY and future joint projects.
