Tajik businesspersons invited to benefit from favorable investment climate created in Azerbaijan’s industrial zones

A delegation led by Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir has visited Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park.
The meeting, attended by Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Rustam Soliev, Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency Elshad Nuriyev, provided insight into the industrial zones operating in Azerbaijan, the investment opportunities created here for entrepreneurs as well as the tax and customs benefits applied to them.
Tajik minister emphasized that his country looking forward to take advantage of Azerbaijan's experience in the expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan, especially in the field of industry and logistics, and in creation of industrial parks.
The meeting also discussed prospects for cooperation as well as implementation of the joint projects. Tajik businesspersons were invited to benefit from favorable investment climate created in Azerbaijan’s industrial zones.
The delegation also familiarized themselves with the work done in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park and the production process at the polyethylene products factory "Azertechnoline" LLC, a resident of the Industrial Park.
