Baku Higher Oil School, Bahçeşehir University sign agreement

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with a delegation led by Rector of Bahçeşehir University (Türkiye), Prof. Şirin Karadeniz.
Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Students and Alumni Platform (ASAP) Rafael Hajibeyli and other representatives of ASAP also attended the meeting.
BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov welcomed the guests and informed them about the university. He noted that Baku Higher Oil School, established within the structure of SOCAR by the Decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, has become one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in a short span of time. The rector emphasized that BHOS specialties have the highest passing rates in the country, and the university leads in the number of Presidential Scholars.
Head of the delegation Şirin Karadeniz provided information about Bahçeşehir University. He stressed that cooperation with Baku Higher Oil School will be beneficial for both universities.
Then, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two higher education institutions.
The memorandum envisages the implementation of exchange programs to ensure the participation of students, teachers and scientists from both universities in education, research and other activities, the sharing of relevant publications between the two universities, the realization of joint professional development and educational programs, and other issues.
