"Gipsy Kings" pop group, famous for their performances in the Rumba-Flamenco style, popular for their songs "Bamboleo", "Volare", "Baila Me", "Amor Mio", will give a concert at the Baku Convention Center for the first time on June 15.
The Gipsy Kings are largely responsible for bringing the joyful sounds of progressive pop-oriented flamenco to the world. Originally called Los Reyes, the group recorded under that name on their first album, Gitan Poete, in 1977. Later, the band changed their name to the Gipsy Kings, and released their second album, Allegria, a folk record featuring more traditional songs.
