Baku, June 6, AZERTAC On June 6, starting from 11:40 to 16:50, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of the Garaiman settlement of the Basarkechar district using small arms periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army’s positions stationed in the direction of the Astaf settlement of the Dashkasan district, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.Moreover, at about 16:25, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army’s positions stationed in the direction of the Aghdam district.The Azerbaijan Army units took adequate retaliatory measures in all the mentioned directions.At the same time, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments attempted to install long-term fortification facilities in front of the Azerbaijan Army’s positions stationed in the directions of the Shusha, Khojavend, and Aghdam districts.The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army units.
