Soldier Mammadli Davud Fuad oglu, a military serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, died as a result of an accident (lightning strike) while on duty.
According to the ministry, the case is being investigated.
The leadership of the Defense Ministry expresses its deep condolences to the family of the deceased serviceman,” the ministry said.
