Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has today met with President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco.
Azerbaijani PM highly appreciated Duarte Pacheco’s participation in the special session organized by Milli Majlis to mark 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
PM Ali Asadov commended IPU’s role in development of interparliamentary relations and global parliamentary diplomacy, adding that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expansion of cooperation with IPU.
The pair also discussed Azerbaijan’s fruitful activity as IPU member state, as well as prospects for development of relations.
