Moscow, May 16, AZERTAC Members of Azerbaijani delegation led by Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have familiarized themselves with the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev hosted by Russian TASS News Agency.Organized outside the offices of the news agency, the exhibition featured photos highlighting the political activity of the prominent politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev in various years, large-scale projects carried out under his leadership as well as Azerbaijan-Russia relations during National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s second presidency. Following the exhibition, the Azerbaijani delegation has met with the leadership of the TASS News Agency.Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova expressed her gratitude to TASS for hosting an exhibition as well as for the great attention to the 100th anniversary of great son of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. The speaker noted that the visionary policy and strong will helped Heydar Aliyev to successfully fulfill his mission and rescue Azerbaijan during the times of uncertainty. Speaker Sahiba Gafarova also noted that the activities implemented by Heydar Aliyev as a leader of independent Azerbaijan are being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. TASS Director General Sergei Mikhailov and other senior officials described Heydar Aliyev as a genius personality, highlighting his role in development of Azerbaijan-Russia relations.Assistant to Azerbaijani President Anar Alakbarov, Head of Azerbaijan-Russia interparliamentary working group Nizami Safarov, MPs Mikhail Zabelin, Elnur Allahverdiyev and other officials also attended the meeting.   Farida Abdullayeva Special correspondent
