Baku, April 17, AZERTACThe Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) and Turkiye’s Igdir University have signed a memorandum on cooperation. The meeting held with the participation of the Rector of the University, Geray Geraybeyli and the Rector of Igdir University Mehmet Hakkı ALMA, focused on scientific and practical knowledge of the two universities and the training of professional medical personnel. The two expressed satisfaction with the existence of mutually beneficial relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all fields, including that of medicine. The memorandum envisages the expansion of academic exchange and cooperation, student-teacher exchange between the two universities in the field of nursing, implementation of joint projects, cooperation in dual degrees and other important issues.The delegation of the Igdir University is in Baku to participate in the international congress to mark the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
