Baku, April 12, AZERTAC According to the combat training plan for 2022 approved by the Minister of Defense, the next graduation ceremony of the Marines Commando Basic Courses held in one of the military units of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces was conducted, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.First, the memory of the martyrs was honored and flowers were laid at their monument erected in the territory of the military unit.The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.Speaking at the ceremony, Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov greeted the graduates who successfully completed the course, conveyed the congratulations of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense to them, and wished them success in their future service. He emphasized that such courses, which contribute to the further improvement of the professionalism of military personnel, will be continued hereinafter.Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov noted that the commandos are always ready to successful accomplishment of important tasks both at sea and on land.The Naval Forces Commander thanked the officers from Türkiye and whole staff for their support for organizing and holding the high-level course, which involved professional instructors from fraternal country.Then, the Course leader attached an emblem to the symbolic stump and the graduates were presented certificates.In the end, the distinguished servicemen and instructors were awarded with honorary certificates and valuable gifts.During the courses, the participants increased their theoretical and practical skills in various subjects.
