Baku, April 3, AZERTAC The Uruguayan news agency Uypress has published an article highlighting Azerbaijan's tourism destinations.The article, headlined "Azerbaijan is a country waiting to be discovered," drew the readers` attention to the nature, cuisine, culture, national traditions and modern buildings of Azerbaijan. The article mentioned that the tools discovered in ancient Azikh cave testifies that Azerbaijan is one of the ancient human habitats.The article hailed the Karabakh horse breed, which is one of the oldest horse breeds in the world, as well as Chovgan - an Azerbaijani traditional horse-riding game played by two competing teams of players mounted on Karabakh horses.The author also mentioned the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by world-famous Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid - the architect, who was awarded one of the most prestigious prizes in the field of architecture in 2014 for this masterpiece of architecture.
