Jerusalem, March 29, AZERTAC “Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Israel. The opening of the embassy is an indicator of strategic relations between the two countries,” Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said in a press statement.Cohen described the opening of Azerbaijan’s Embassy as of great importance throughout the 30-year history of the relations between the two countries.“We maintain cooperation in the spheres of regional security, energy, tourism and other areas. Azerbaijan is home to one of the largest Jewish communities in the Muslim world,” Israeli FM noted.
